Shared languages that name and code nursing diagnoses, interventions and outcomes: NANDA-I for nursing diagnoses, the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC), the Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC), and the International Council of Nurses' ICNP, which WHO accepted into its Family of International Classifications. In the EHR they make nursing care comparable and measurable for quality and research. The NCLEX does not test knowledge of specific NANDA-I diagnoses.
