Health care delivered remotely with digital technology: video or phone consultations, remote monitoring and sending health data to a provider. In Türkiye, under the 2022 telehealth regulation, it is given only by facilities holding a Ministry telehealth permit, through a secure, Ministry-registered system: the person's identity is verified, they are told that remote care does not replace face-to-face care and that emergencies go to the nearest emergency department, and no audio or video is recorded without both parties' explicit consent.
