1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (also our End User License Agreement, "Terms") are an agreement between you and Forvibe LLC ("we", "us"), the operator of Finito Nursing ("Finito", the "Service"): the iOS and Android apps, the website at finitonursing.com and the services behind them. By creating an account, using the Service as a guest or buying a subscription, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Finito

  • You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to accept these Terms where you live.
  • You can start as a guest. A guest account lives on your device and our servers until you delete it; if you lose the device before linking an email, Apple or Google account, you may lose access to it.
  • Keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.

3. The Service

Finito helps nursing students study: Finito AI (a tutor that answers questions and turns your files into sets and quizzes), sets with spaced repetition, quizzes, NGN-style case studies, med-math practice, care plan coaching, skills checklists, a pocket reference, a nursing glossary and a community where students share sets. We may add, change or remove features. Some features need an internet connection, the permission described in section 5, or a Premium subscription.

4. Educational use only

Finito is a study tool. It is not medical advice and not a clinical decision tool.

  • Do not use Finito to diagnose, treat or make decisions about real patients, to calculate real medication doses, or in place of your instructors, clinical guidelines, institutional policies or a licensed professional.
  • Content, including AI answers, case studies, calculations and community sets, can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check important information against your course materials and authoritative sources.
  • Finito is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school, licensing body or exam provider, including the NCSBN and NCLEX. Using Finito does not guarantee any grade or exam result.

5. AI features

  • AI features run only after you give the permission the app asks for. You can withdraw it in Settings at any time; the AI features then stop until you allow them again.
  • AI output is generated automatically and can be inaccurate. You are responsible for how you use it.
  • Do not enter or upload patient-identifying information (names, ID or record numbers, photos of records) or anyone else's personal data.
  • Do not try to make the AI produce harmful, illegal or deceptive content, or extract its instructions.
  • Free use of AI features is limited by daily, weekly or monthly quotas shown in the app; Premium raises them. Quotas exist to keep the Service fair and affordable and may change.

6. Your content

"Your content" is what you put into Finito: messages, files, sets, notes, care plans, reviews and the like.

  • You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit and display it, only as needed to run the Service for you (including sending it to our service providers, such as OpenAI for AI features).
  • When you share a set, review or glossary draft with the community, you also give other users a license to view, import, copy and study it inside Finito, and you give us a license to show it in the Service. Copies other students imported stay with them if you later delete the original.
  • Upload only content you have the right to use. Lecture slides and books may be protected by copyright; keep such material for your own private study and do not share it with the community without permission.
  • You can delete your content at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what deletion means.

7. Community

Shared content must follow the Community Guidelines. We may check shared content before it goes public, hide or remove content, and limit or end access for accounts that break the rules. You can report content and block other users in the app.

8. Subscriptions and payments

  • Free and Premium: the core of Finito is free with limits. Premium unlocks higher limits and premium features, as described on the paywall at the time of purchase.
  • Where you buy: you can subscribe through the Apple App Store, Google Play or on our website through Stripe. Payment, billing and refunds are handled by the store or Stripe under their terms. One Premium subscription works on every platform where you sign in with the same account.
  • Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal (App Store and Google Play) or before the renewal date (web).
  • No free trial: Premium is bought outright, monthly or annually; we do not offer free trials. The free plan, with its daily and weekly limits, is how you try Finito.
  • Cancelling: cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or in the billing portal on the website. You keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it first.
  • Refunds: App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded only by Apple or Google under their policies. For web purchases, contact support@finitonursing.com. Mandatory refund and withdrawal rights in your country are not affected.
  • Price changes: we will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription, as the store or the law requires.
  • Premium codes: codes we give out grant Premium for the stated period, cannot be exchanged for money and may expire.

9. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • upload malware, or try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
  • scrape, copy or resell the Service, its content or its AI output in bulk, or use them to build a competing product or to train AI models;
  • get around quotas, paywalls, rate limits, moderation or security measures;
  • use automated means to create accounts or send requests;
  • harass, threaten or impersonate others;
  • use Finito in a way that could harm patients, other users or the Service.

10. Our content and license to you

The Service, including its software, design, official sets, case studies, glossary, reference material and the Finito name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. Some reference material is based on openly licensed sources, which are credited where they are used and remain under their own licenses.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps and the website for your own study, under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, decompile or reverse engineer the apps, except where the law allows it.

11. Third-party services

Finito relies on third parties such as Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, OpenAI and Supabase. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience.

12. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Your license is limited to using the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store usage rules.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation to the extent permitted by law.
  • Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app, such as product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, or consumer protection claims.
  • Apple is not responsible for investigating or defending a claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using Finito and delete your account at any time; see Delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service. If we end the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 4, 6, 10, 14, 15 and 17) survive termination.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that content is accurate or complete.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

16. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from third-party claims caused by your content or by your breach of these Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Forvibe LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at support@finitonursing.com so we can try to resolve it.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Finito after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
