1. Data controller
This notice is given under Article 10 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to people who use the Finito Nursing mobile apps and the finitonursing.com website. The Turkish version is the original; this is an English translation.

2. Personal data we process
- Identity and contact: email address, the identifier from your Apple or Google account, the name you choose to show.
- Education and profile: language, region, program year, study goal, school, exam date, daily study minutes and the courses you pick.
- User content: sets, cards, quiz answers, NGN case attempts, med-math attempts, care plans, skills checklist runs, chats with Finito AI, uploaded documents and images, community posts, reviews, reports and blocks; the one question you ask on the home page without signing in (not stored, only passed to OpenAI to write the answer).
- Customer transaction data: subscription product, status and renewal date, premium code redemptions, usage quota counters, support correspondence.
- Transaction security data: account identifier, session data, technical error logs; on the website, the country derived from your IP address to pick the price currency (not stored); a one-way hash of your IP address for the free home-page question (SHA-256, 24 hours).
- Marketing and analytics: in-app events; on the website, analytics and ad measurement cookies only if you consent in the cookie banner.
The app is not designed to collect health data. You must not enter information about real patients (names, ID or record numbers and the like). Before a care plan is sent to AI, the app removes the identifiers it can detect, and shared content is checked for personal data before it is published.
3. Purposes of processing
- creating your membership and account, signing in and syncing across devices;
- providing the study features (sets, spaced repetition, quizzes, NGN cases, clinical tools, glossary);
- running the AI features you ask for;
- moderating community content and handling reports and blocks;
- managing subscriptions, payments, premium codes and usage quotas;
- answering support requests, fixing errors and improving the service;
- keeping information secure and preventing abuse;
- meeting legal obligations and answering requests from competent authorities.
4. Legal grounds
- Establishing or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c): the account, study features, subscriptions and support.
- Legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç): keeping billing and accounting records.
- Establishing, exercising or protecting a right (Art. 5/2-e): disputes and cases of abuse.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f): security, error logs, community moderation and in-app usage analytics.
- Explicit consent (Art. 5/1): sending your data to OpenAI for the AI features, and analytics and advertising cookies on the website. You can withdraw explicit consent at any time: "AI data sharing" in Settings for AI; for cookies, "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our pages or "Privacy" in Settings.
5. Recipients and transfers abroad
Your personal data is shared, only for the purposes above, with:
- Our service providers: Supabase (database, sign-in and storage; EU), Resend (sending sign-in emails; USA), Vercel (hosting; EU and a global edge network), OpenAI (AI and content moderation; USA), CloudConvert (file conversion; EU/USA), Upstash (rate limiting and background jobs; EU), RevenueCat (subscription management; USA), Stripe (web payments; USA), Apple and Google (app stores and sign-in), Mixpanel (analytics; EU), Google Analytics and Google Ads (website only, with consent), Sentry (error reporting; USA).
- Competent public authorities: when legally authorized authorities request it.
Because the data controller is in the United States and some of our providers are outside Türkiye, your personal data is transferred abroad. These transfers are made in line with the conditions of Article 9 of the KVKK.
6. How we collect data
Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, through the mobile apps and the website: from what you enter, the files you upload, in-app events, cookies, and what Apple, Google, the app stores and Stripe send us.
7. Retention
Your account data is kept while your account exists and deleted at once when you delete your account. Items you delete are deleted when you delete them. Billing records are kept for the periods the law requires. See the Privacy Policy and Delete your account for details.
8. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
By applying to the data controller, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about it if it is,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
- request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request its erasure or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
- object to a result against you that arises from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
9. How to apply
Send your application, stating your identity and your request clearly, from the email address registered to your account to support@finitonursing.com, or in writing to 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. You can also delete your account yourself in the app. Applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature; if the action requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged under the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board. If your application is rejected, the answer is insufficient or it is not answered in time, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board.
