Conflict management

Topic: Management

Handling differences in views, values or interests within the team, or with clients and families, constructively. The main strategies are avoiding, accommodating, competing, compromising and collaborating; collaboration usually gives the most lasting solution. Recognize conflict early, address the issue rather than the person, listen actively and involve a manager or mediator when needed.
