Producing immunity to a disease by giving a vaccine; one of the most effective forms of primary prevention. In Türkiye, vaccines in the Ministry of Health's Expanded Program on Immunization are given free of charge at family health centers. Before vaccinating, check the schedule, contraindications and any previous reactions; keep the cold chain intact, observe the client for a period afterwards and record the vaccine.
